Green product databases are great but limited. General databases don’t have great data. We have direct integration with all of the sustainability source data, but we don’t exclude any – we strive to include all possible products.

We do this for two reasons. First, every project team is designing a whole building – and every product needs to be sourced. This is why most designers don’t use the green (only) product data bases. Unfortunately, green products still only make up a small part of the market, but we are helping to change that!

Data Partners: We have data integration from 3rd party sustainability sources like HPD, EC3, C2C, Declare and others. Any products associated with these parties are automatically updated and kept current in our catalog.

Material Passport: 3Eco (formerly ToxNot) is another data integration partner but is also one way we encourage manufacturers to share their data so that we get it. There are many added benefits of doing this, to curate and manage complex data using material passports so that you can track and comply with all (international) requirements, especially as they change and expand over time!

Spreadsheet Transforms: If people have been tracking materials in spreadsheets (or any tools that allow CSV exports) you can send those to us, and we will transform the data and upload it to your account! You won’t lose any past work! Any user entered products appear as “user entered” in our catalog until our staff vets the content and approves it.

Manually added: If a product does not exist in our catalog, any user can create it manually. Basic product information will show up in our catalog as “user entered” until it is vetted by our staff, approved and finalized.
