Once you’ve dragged a tab to create a split view, the tab orientation buttons appear at the top. Clicking on those lets you change the orientation of the split screen between horizontal and vertical. The default split view is side-by-side, but you can switch to one on top of another at any time by clicking on the buttons up top.
- CLICK THE PANE ORIENTATION BUTTONS: after you drag the tab over to create the split screen view, just click these to change the split screen view from horizontal to vertical.
- CLICK THE PANE ORIENTATION BUTTONS AGAIN: to change the split screen orientation again. You can switch again, as many times as you want.
IMPORTANT: Don’t forget, the Pane Orientation buttons do not appear until you drag one of the tabs over to create the split screen view!
