You can compare products within our catalog! This compare function is slightly different if you go directly to the catalog or if you go to the catalog from within a Material List using “add products from catalog”. When you go directly to the catalog, you only see the compare function (as shown in 1 and 2 below). When you go from within a Material List, you choose between compare and “add” to your Material List as shown in number 3 below.
- HOVER & CLICK: If you go directly to the catalog by clicking on “Product Catalog” at the top of the page, you will see the green compare icon appear when you hover over any product. Simply click that icon and the product shows up in your right side-bar. You can change the filters or search terms and continue to pick options and your choices remain in the right side window until you are done and ready for the next click.
- CLICK “COMPARE”: Once you’ve selected all the products you want to compare, click the blue “compare” button at the top of that right hand window. (until you click the blue button, you can keep changing your mind!)
- FROM A MATERIAL LIST: Notice that if you are in a Material List and you go to add products from the catalog (p. 22) you will see a different icon when you hover. The gray icon with 3 dots means you have choices. You can either add that product to your material list OR compare it to other product(s).
Then you can click the “Highlight” button which will show you what data is different across the products.
4. CLICK HIGHLIGHT DIFFERENCES: you can toggle this on and off
5. OPEN OR CLOSE CERTIFICATIONS: each certification that applies to the products you selected can be open, or collapsed shut. Just open the sections you want to see.
