We call our catalog “infinite” because there is no limit to the number or type of building products you can find! No products are excluded. Yes, we make it easy to find certified products that meet sustainability criteria but we also include “Not-Yet-Green” products also, for two reasons. First, it is still impossible to build an entire project from solely certified products. Second, we can’t influence those products if they aren’t included, by sharing project team demand. It is also infinite in terms of the content within product listings. As we expand the data we manage for manufacturers, we will continue to increase attributes and functions beyond anything currently in existence!
Our industry-first, unique Standards Setting tool also allows us to automate compliance checking against any industry standard or firm standard so product manufacturers know instantly how their products rate based on these standards – this could be the mindfulMATERIALS CMF (Common Material Framework), Basic Better Best – and many other leading industry criteria. Now manufacturers don’t need to spend countless hours filling out spreadsheets!
We aim to be the “one ring to rule them all” of catalogs, but with an excellent, consistent level of quality data. Our catalog grows constantly, with products being added in a few different ways.
- CERTIFICATIONS We get certification data directly from the source – so it is always current. It can be confusing, but certifications are not actually “products” because each one addresses different scales and aspects of attributes – more on that in the next section. All product certifications are listed at no cost to manufacturers.
- MANUFACTURER DIRECT DATA FEEDS: Manufacturers came to us in 2024 asking for a data management solution that is easy, efficient and accurate. We met the challenge and implemented the best solution in the market. This allows us to display complete data – including lines, collections, patterns, colors and more. We are launching branded storefronts where case studies, sample management and digitized Q+A can be found. This is still new in 2025 and will be rapidly expanding.
- USER ENTERED DATA: Users manually enter products or send us spreadsheets of materials they’ve been tracking that we can upload and transform into our platform so they don’t lose any past work.
- AI and SCRAPING: One way we use AI is in a multi-tiered process to scrape product information and then add proprietary programming to ensure accuracy (AI on its own is not accurate).
