It’s always easy to export your data, both for any Project’s Material List or even your entire portfolio-wide data (i.e., for AIA Material Pledge reporting or for ESG). You can also export partial data sets such as schedules (finish schedule, door schedule, etc). This is useful for many reasons, including streamlining the transition pf product details from BIM to CAD for drawing details. Numbers 1-4 below show you how to export from a Material List and number 5 is for the portfolio-wide export (like AIA Material Pledge reporting).
- SELECT WHAT YOU WANT TO PRINT: Whatever is visible in your Material List table is what will print, so first make sure that what you want to print is displayed. You can open the Control Panel by clicking on the gear icon in the top right of your page (as shown in previous sections) to make sure the certification data, CSI sections or Groups are displayed. Then, to enable the Export function, which is part of Bulk Actions, all you need to do is click on a single row (or more / all).
- CLICK “EXPORT”: The Export button appears in the bulk actions – just click that. .
- SELECT TABLE HEADERS FROM CONTROL PANEL WINDOW: A new window will pop up that shows (confirms) which “table headers” you want included in the export. You can review and change your mind (add or delete items from the export) at that time.
- CLICK THE EXPORT BUTTON: Last, click on ”Export” at the bottom of the window. The file will appear wherever your downloads typically go.
- CLICK VIEW ALL: To export your entire portfolio-wide data set across all projects – you still use the control panel or pop up window to select which data fields you want to export, but you click “View All” to do the export. Be patient, this may take a few minutes if you have many projects!.
