The split screen view makes it easy to compare different parts within one Material List. This can apply to different CSI Divisions as well as Groups you’ve created or Sust. Certs.
You can also compare different Project Material Lists with each other, but that’s different than comparing two parts within one single Material List. People typically do that when they want to copy products from one list to another.
This section shows you how to compare content within the same Material List. This applies to:
- Comparing 2 CSI divisions, or one CSI division with “All”; your entire Material List.
- Comparing “All” (or one CSI Division) with a Group or
- Comparing 2 groups.
- Sorting by different column headings to compare two sections.
You might do this so you can look at Furniture and Fabrics next to each other, or different parts of an assembly – there are different reasons people use this feature.
You can compare in either horizontal or vertical split screens and you can change from vertical to horizontal as you please!
The next pages shows you how to do this, it’s a simple “drag and drop” with the tabs.
You can also open two lists in two different browser windows or tabs, if you prefer that.
This is how it looks to see the split screen view in side-by-side orientation.
